Our Story
Our Story

Rez.Church began and grew from a small group of believers who had their first home at Seventh and Washington Streets in Loveland. This small group of believers has grown into a church that is reaching around the world with the love of Christ.  Through the years these believers met and served under different titles…Loveland Assembly of God…Resurrection Fellowship…and today Rez.Church. However, the mission to raise up life-giving followers of Jesus Christ has remained the same.

Pastor Jonathan and Amy Wiggins are equipping Rez to live with compassion, reflecting the character of Jesus within our homes and community. Every weekend we see men and women putting their faith in Jesus Christ and beginning a walk towards fulfillment in their lives.

Rez is known for its dynamic worship, anointed preaching, excellence of ministry, and a passion for the world.  Since 1999, Rez.Church has given over $1,000,000 annually to compassion and outreach works around the world with a special focus on Israel.

Rez.Church does not exist to serve itself, but rather to serve our community and world.  Just over a decade ago the facilities of Rez seemed far removed from the communities we served. Today Rez locations are at the hub of current and projected growth of the northern tier of the Front Range of Colorado. Because of this, Rez has refined and renewed its focus on God’s great plan and commission for His church to “go and make disciples.” Our goal is to see every man, woman, and child become a life-giving follower of Jesus.  We are glad you are a part of Rez.

Our Purpose

Rez.Church exists to raise up life-giving followers of Jesus
who touch their world with God’s love.

At Rez, we filter every idea, program, and budget request through our purpose statement. If what we plan doesn’t help us meet our purpose, then we don’t do it.

Our statement of purpose is based on God’s original promise to a people, and two teachings of Jesus:

  • “Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, ‘ I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God…” (Exodus 6:6-7)
  • Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart…soul…and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:36-40)
  • He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe…” Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. (Mark 16:15-20)
