COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT PREMARITAL COUNSELING
How do we begin the premarital process and/or schedule a pastor to officiate our wedding?

Do we have to be members of Rez Church to go through the premarital process or have a Rez pastor officiate our wedding?
No. You do not have to be a member of Rez Church to go through our premarital process or to have one of our pastors officiate your wedding.
What are the guidelines for a Rez Church pastor to officiate our wedding?
If you are interested in having a Rez pastor officiate your wedding, premarital counseling is required prior to the wedding. If the premarital counseling is completed outside of Rez Church, counseling must be scripture-based, and we will need documentation of completion. This documentation should include the curriculum studied, and who facilitated your process. The documentation should be on a letter or form from your premarital counselor directly emailed to marriage@rez.church.
Is there a cost for Rez Church premarital counseling?
Yes. The cost is $95.00 per couple. This covers the online assessment and the materials used for premarital counseling.

Marriage Mentors
We know and understand marital challenges. Our goal is to help you reclaim, heal, and build the marriage God intended for you. Marriage Mentors is a ministry designed to help couples strengthen and restore their marriages when going through a challenging season. After an initial interview, you will be connected with a trained Marriage Mentor couple who have a heart and skills to see God’s grace and mercy restore your marriage. Great marriages are possible, and we would like to show you practical ways to restore and heal your marriage.

Who can I speak with if my marriage is in need of help?

Does Rez.Church provide counseling?

Small Groups
Marriage is a gift from God and we want you to discover God’s great plan for your marriage. We also know parenting takes time, attention, and love. In marriage and family (parenting) groups, we will focus on God’s design for couples and families, as well as learn with other like-minded couples on this same journey.
Interested in Leading a Marriage or Family Small Group?
If you are a small group participant and interested in leading a marriage or family small group, please contact our small groups pastor for more information on how you can obtain training and grow as a marriage or family small group leader. If you are interested in becoming a small group leader for the first time, you must complete the Growth Track first and attend Small Group Leader Training.
