A Message from Pastor Hannah
We want to share some meaningful and exciting news from Pastor Hannah and her family. After much prayer and reflection, Hannah has sensed a clear call from the Lord over the summer to step into a new season. This decision is not connected to the recent leadership transitions at Rez, but rather a step of faith and obedience as she follows God’s leading.
While we are certainly sad to see her go, we are also filled with joy and anticipation for what God has in store for Hannah and her family as they take this next step in their ministry journey. We are proud of her obedience to God’s call and celebrate with her as she continues to serve the Kingdom in this new role.
Below is Pastor Hannah’s message, in her own words:
From Pastor Hannah:
Dear Team,
After much prayer and reflection, my family and I have chosen to say yes to a clear call from the Lord to step into a new adventure. Over the summer, the Lord began making a clear path toward an out of state move to Oklahoma. We immediately reached out to our closest circle, to walk with us and pray with us through a very very difficult decision and journey. The decision quickly became, not do we want to move, but rather are we going to be obedient to the Lord’s leading – and you all know me, I may wrestle through it but honoring Him with all that I am and all that I have is everything to me. So, we will be moving to Oklahoma at the end of October!
This is a step of obedience we are taking with full faith, trusting God’s leading into this new chapter with A LOT of unknowns. However, though our physical location is changing, our love and gratitude for Rez remain unchanged. We are incredibly thankful for the years we’ve spent here, the relationships we’ve built, and the impact this church has had on our lives and calling. This church will always feel like home. I continue to believe wholeheartedly in the vision, mission, future, and Leadership of Rez.Church. I have never been more confident that the very very best is ahead for Rez.Church and you will NOT want to miss it! Keep moving forward into all that God has for you and this amazing church.
I am so grateful for each and every one of you – for who you are and for the unique gifts you bring to make this church and community so powerful and life-giving. I will be cheering each of you on from OK and will be with you always in prayer and in spirit… you will see us around Rez any and every chance we get.
